The Parade Grounds at Historic Officers Row plays host to events and activities all year long. From the largest 4th of July Fireworks display this side of the Mississippi to vintage 1860s baseball games, historic weapons firing demonstrations, concerts and free movies under the stars, the Parade Grounds has been an active community hub for over 150 years.

The Discovery Walk Festival is an international event with walkers, hikers, runners and families coming from all over the world to participate. The routes start at 5k and go all the way up to 42k, plus there are biking and swimming events. If you have never been, 2008 is the year to start.
